just the beginning

This evening this child, when told he must finish his dinner if he wanted to have ice cream, waited until his brother who was finished wasn't looking and pulled the old plate switcheroo. He then gazed at me with those sky blue eyes wide and informed me that he was ready for his dessert.

He is not yet yet three years old. Sigh.
