slipping into our blue suede shoes

We are gypsies. In the fourteen years we've been married, we have moved ten times. We've been in Wichita for four years. The longest we have ever lived anywhere. We had a baby here. Tommy started school. Life rushed past. We have made some of the dearest friends we have ever had.

And we are off again. Ty has accepted a position with International Paper in Memphis. He leaves in a couple of weeks. The kids and I will join him once we sell the house. We are planning to live in Collierville. It's green, lovely and they have a historic town square and deep fried pickles. And Costco. I have been practicing my southern accent. We couldn't be more excited.

What a fun new adventure for your family! I hope the move goes smoothly and that the kids transition schools easily.

You need something like this, but sounds like it'd need to be made way longer.... http://lollyjaneboutique.blogspot.com/2011/08/address-subway-art-guest-post.html

At least you're moving in the right direction (AKA closer to us). Big news- Garett's mom told him today- had to check your blog to verify.

Congrats to you all! Sad for me (I was hoping for Denver to the lucky Daniels family landing spot). Best of luck with the move, etc.

Graceland baby! Let me know if you run into Elvis. I hear he's still alive? Memphis will be a great spot. I've heard good things about the town and it was always on my list of places to visit but our Kentucky living was cut shorter than expected. I hope your house sells super fast (unlike mine which is still for sale over a year later...) so your family can be reunited quickly! Good luck with it all! Hugs

Good food, music and Costco - true selling points. We might have made it longer in Wichita is there was Costco. Congrats again and happy travels.
