This post was going to be all about how long my long runs really are and about how I had sort of forgotten that. Saturday's run almost killed me. Seriously. But then yesterday I ran again. Just a regular run.The first couple of miles strained every sore and tight muscle and I doubted the wisdom of not taking an extra day off. But as it went on the stiffness worked itself out and I was moving more freely than I had been. I know there's a lesson in this somewhere. It feeks like a lesson right? Something about persistance and hard work and healing. I can't seem to quite put it into words but I think I've got it, nonetheless.
Four weeks to go.
