Guess how many times in a day that this beloved child starts a sentence with the above phrase. That's right! 74 billion times a day (margin of error is +/-100). I really, really love that he has so much to tell me, but I don't want to guess anymore. Seiously. No. More. Guessing.

And will he not tell you unless you have at least tried to guess? Yup, that is what my kids do. I love them dearly. And I am so sick of guessing.
I've started saying, "Do you want me to guess or do you want to tell me?" Drives him nuts and he quickly just tells me ;)
Mine says "Did you know...?" at least 100 times a day. I know I will miss it one day, but for now just spit it out.
My boys just said, "Dad the police want you at the front door", or something like that. They get past "guess what" and on to the more real life topics oh too soon. "Guess what" is so in the now. I'll take over when we come visit and give you a break. Tom Daniels
HA! That was Matt Jr. about two years ago. Matt senior used it ALL the time with him when he was born, because he had to revert to his old childhood speech in order to try to relate with his first born. Oh my, how hard it was to train it out of both of them.
